Cast brass doorbells handcrafted in our Venetian foundries by specialized masters using authentic traditional techniques. To make our doorbells, the brass is brought to melting temperature and poured into a cast with the final shape of the object to be made. Once cooled, the brass is extracted, polished and patinated. The working technique used is the classic ‘bracket’ casting method.
Doorbell 001: Cast brass Doorbell handcrafted using the ‘bracket’ technique and left to cool in the sand of Fontainebleau.
Once extracted from the mould, it is polished and patinated by qualified Venetian master craftsmen.
The fixing screws are of the same finish as the bell.
