I learned the art of Venetian mask-making in one of the city’s workshops to support myself during my university studies. Then in 2000, I opened my own workshop together with my husband Tommaso, who left his job as a philosophy teacher to dedicate himself full-time to mask-making.
From the very beginning, our goal was clear: to preserve and promote the artisanal tradition of mask-making that we are so passionate about. All our products are entirely Made in Italy, from the papier-mâché base to the smallest decorative details. We see Venice as ‘our’ city, and we try to honor its urban fabric and cultural value by keeping the spirit of the old artisan workshop alive, avoiding standardized modernity.
